You can use your pushchair in the grounds but must leave it outside the buildings.

There is nowhere serving food and drink on-site but you can buy sweet and savoury local produce (biscuits, fish terrine or rillettes, crispbread), hot and cold drinks at the gift shop.
Picnics are allowed in the Prieuré grounds. You can also leave the site for lunch and come back afterwards to finish your tour. The ticket is valid all day.

Dogs are allowed in the grounds and must be kept on a lead. Dogs are also allowed inside the château in a pet carrier. Guide dogs for sight-impaired visitors are allowed throughout the site.
Other types of pet are not allowed.
There's no need to book your admission or introductory tours (20 min).
However, you must book your guided tour (75 min) at least 24 hours before you visit.

There are no skip-the-line tickets. All visitors, including e-ticket holders (https://billetterie- demeure-ronsard.departement-touraine.fr/) must visit reception before admission.
E-tickets bought on https://billetterie-demeure-ronsard.departement-touraine.fr/ are non- refundable (unless visitors are unable to enter the museum due to the site being closed in unforeseen circumstances). However, you can amend or exchange your tickets online as long as you do so before the date you originally chose to visit. You cannot amend or exchange your tickets after the date stated on your ticket.
Tickets bought on-site are valid for the day you buy them on.
E-tickets are valid for the date you select when you buy them.
Tickets sold by other providers are valid for the day you visit.

It takes an average of 1.5 hr to visit all the buildings and grounds.
The introductory outdoor guided tour lasts approx. 20 min.

The best time is May and June when the heirloom roses are in bloom.
You can see the heritage fruit and vegetables that the monks and Pierre de Ronsard would have eaten in the vegetable garden in July and August.
